This beautiful girl is Pepper. She is ~5yr-old border collie who is looking for her forever home. Pepper is a shy girl who is looking for someone who is willing to "date" before making a life-time commitment. She will take several visits to get comfortable with you, but once she is, she will follow you everywhere. Pepper came to me heartworm positive. She has finished her heartworm treatment and is ready to resume normal activities. Pepper would make a wonderful companion for an older dog or one that is shy. She is very respectful of another dogs space and expects the other dog to return the favor, so super friendly very excitable dogs would not be a good match. Once she is comfortable with another dog, she is playful. She would also do best in a home without young children. Pepper is not a big snuggle bug, but she does enjoy being petted. She is a medium to low energy dog, who loves to go on walks.
